Summary
Claire Bradford needed a wake-up call. What she didn't need was a tragic car accident. As a single mom and owner of a successful bread shop, Claire leads a very predictable life in Hope's Crossing, Colorado, with no time to spare for romance. When the accident forces Claire to slow down and lean on others, she realizes for the first time that she needs to make some changes in her life. The accident, as well as the string of robberies that led up to it, forces the people of Hope's Crossing to take a hard look at themselves. And when they do, they realize that these tough years have diminished their sense of community.
