A police detective becomes obsessed with a mysterious suicide where the victim apparently died with his body completely shaved head to toe, wearing nothing but a watch, which had stopped at the exact time of 9:06 AM. But delving into the victim's life, and eventually death, inextricably drags the detective through his own painful memories of love and loss. His personal insights however become the key to the mystery, ultimately convincing him this was anything but a suicide
